We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at McCall Funeral Home
Jacqueline Linda Myles, age 57, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Twin Towers In-Patient Hospice Facility. She was born on July 2 1964 to the late Ben Myles and Doris Ann Gray in Wetumpka, Alabama.
Affectionally known as ‘Jackie’ to family and friends, she relocated with her family to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1972 where she started her family beginning with her eldest, Letrice. Though it may have been difficult attending high school with a baby, Jackie persevered with attending school both during the day and at night to achieve her goal. She obtained her high school diploma on time with her class from Hughes High School in 1981.
Jackie married Alan Smith in 1987. Together they welcomed two more children to the world, Alan Smith JR (AJ) and Martina Smith. Jackie worked in alterations to provide for her family. She was always the life of the party and you’d rarely see her without a smile on her face. She enjoyed spending time with family making her way to the dance floor as often as she could or watching spooky movies, what she called “pookie movies”.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Ben and Doris as well as her son Alan (AJ) Smith Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughters Letrice Myles and Martina Lowe (Brian Lowe), her grandchildren; Taleiah Gamble, Lei Gamble, Leizah Gamble, Aveion Bradley, Jayonte Wilson, Jayonna Wilson, Martez Lowe, Briasha Lowe, Bryant Lowe, Shanice Jacqueline Lowe (arriving in November), her great-granddaughter Kay’harri Hayes, her siblings Mildred Myles, Billy Thomas (Donnitta), Ronald Miller Jr. (Venitta), along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
