Sarah Kimberly Hampton (Kim Byers)

was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Fred Byers, Sr. and Emma Byers on September 15,1960. Our Heavenly Father called her home on Friday, October 8, 2021. One brother preceded her in death, Stanley Byers who affectionately called Kim “Sister Sledge”.

       Kim accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Second Corinthian Baptize Church under the leadership of Pastor White. Kim ended her Christian journey under the leadership of Pastor Rousseau Andre O’Neal at Rocklife Church.

       Kim graduated from Hughes High School and attended Cincinnati State College.  She began her career working at varies positions in the care industry, serving others from children to adults even being a Christmas “Elf”.  Kim was a loving, caring, supportive, and outspoken person. Kim loved her family and friends, and she really enjoyed family gatherings.  Kim loved to travel and attend parties as often as she could.

       Most of all, Kim LOVED fashion from a young child, her outfits always coordinated with her hair and nails.

       Kim leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Greg McGue (DeAndra), daughter, Latia; and five grandchildren: Taquan, Sequoia, Gregory III, Geon, and a grand-dog, Bebe; two God children: Robert Hill and Kimesha Hill; three brothers: Pastor Edward R. Byers (Demetria), Rev. Fred Byers, Jr. (Cathy), Archie Byers; and one sister, Qiana Byers; five aunts: Beatrice Belle, Eliza, Mary, Linda Steele, and Linda Steele-Stewart; two nieces, seventeen nephews, and a host of great-nieces, great- nephews and cousins.

       Kim had a special relationship with her “Bestest” Kimberly Moses, and her sister/cousins Meredith Arnold, Gretchen McLaughlin, Sjuwana Springfield, Teresa Edwards, Cynthia Locket and the Black Diamonds; and a host of other friends.
