William “Adrian” Curry was born on May 15th, 1972 to the union of the late William H. Curry, Jr. and MarJean Woods in Cincinnati, Ohio. He departed this life to be with the Lord after a short term illness at Christ Hospital, on Sunday morning August 22nd, 2021.
At an early age, Adrian was baptized at Christ Memorial Church where he attended with his grandparents Carrie Mae and William Curry, Sr. Later, he joined The Church of the Living God, under the leadership of the late Bishop W.E Crumes, where he served as a Junior Usher alongside his brothers Calvin Curry and Damon Kelly (deceased).
Adrian grew up in the Bond Hill Community, close to many of his friends and relatives, such as Jessie, Marie, and Jessica. He attended Bond Hill School, and graduated from Woodward High School. Adrian was a no nonsense type of guy. He was a quiet person, but he meant what he said when he said it, and said what he meant! He was very protective over his sisters Roz and Missy. He loved listening to Jazz music, which was introduced to him by his grandparents, Linda and Joe, where they would chill. Adrian loved to go to Georgia to visit Uncle Chico and Aunt Carrie. His work ethnic came from those visits, where there was plenty of farm work to be done. He was very organized and a hard worker. Throughout the tenure of his worklife, he was employed at Xavier University as a custodian, and the US Arena as a security guard. You can always see him riding his bike to and from work.
Adrian leaves many to see him again. Among those, Stepmom Evangelist Deborah Kelly, Sister Carrie Michelle Akindele, Brother Calvin Curry, Sister Roslyn Stevenson, Grandmother Mary Meadoios, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
